Obsurv was founded in 2020 to meet an ever increasing demand for sustainable, reliable and reasonable IT services in the KZN area which quickly grew to include a national footprint. We pride ourselves on producing solutions that are of unmatched quality and attention to detail and creating long term relationships with our clients.

IT is traditionally seen as a cost centre. We like to think of IT as more than just a hole for your money, but rather a force multiplier within your business, which is why our solutions take the human factor into account every step of the way.

Obsurv exists to provide our clients and employees with an experience that is worthy of their eight hours a day. Any time spent working with Obsurv should be productive, fulfilling and interesting.

“Obsurv Technologies is a company that was founded as a response to the ever-increasing convolution of the IT industry in KZN. IT products are designed for enterprise first and foremost, leading to overly complicated and expensive solutions that are sold to uninformed buyers and installed by sub-sub-sub-contractors.
We take a different approach. We retain the skills within Obsurv to support any projects and clients we take on, without having to rely on inconsistent subcontractors and outside consultants. Our technicians are not over-extended to the detriment of any one client for the benefit of another and our bottom line.
Most importantly, Obsurv exists to support our clients. The first, and most important, question asked in every scenario is “How does this affect the users?”. Computers and the internet were designed to make our lives easier, and the world a little bit smaller, so we don’t make anything more complicated than it needs to be. “

Meet Our Awesome Team
Nathan Geel
Nathan founded Obsurv in May of 2020 with the mission of turning IT back into what it was meant to be, a tool that enables businesses. Nathan now focuses on managing client accounts and providing high-level technical support to the team.
Mphilisi Cibane
Mphilisi joined Obsurv in January of 2022, and uses his impressive array of skills and attention to detail to ensure all our installations are square, level and plumb. Mphilisi can often be seen carrying the level and constantly keeps everything looking great.
Ronnie Geel
Ronnie joined Obsurv in November of 2021 as our General Manager, bringing many solid years of IT business management, operations and financial experience into the fold. Ronnie ensures any project is held to the highest of standards.
Cindy Cingo
Cindy joined Obsurv in May of 2022 and is one of our school specialised Google certified technicians. Cindy is based permanently on-site at a large primary school, and enjoys creating an IT environment where education thrives with the help of technology.
Jason Renou
Jason joined Obsurv in February of 2022, as an on-site technician with a focus on high-end hardware. Jason provides support to a national private university and builds all of the custom PCs for several large production departments.
